Agile Implementation of Human Resources Collaboration System
As the Technical Project Manager, I led the Agile implementation of a cloud-based collaboration system for a company's Human Resources (HR) department, leveraging Notion as the primary platform. This project focused on streamlining communication, document management, and knowledge sharing within the HR team.
The engagement commenced with a thorough needs assessment, conducting interviews with HR personnel to understand their pain points and desired outcomes. I then developed a detailed project scope and sprint plan, prioritizing features like onboarding workflows, employee self-service portals, and centralized document repositories.
Embracing an iterative development approach, we rapidly built a functional prototype within Notion, incorporating feedback from HR users to refine the system's layout, content organization, and permissions. We also integrated third-party tools like Slack and Google Workspace to enhance communication and collaboration.
Throughout the implementation phase, I managed the migration of existing HR data into Notion, ensuring data integrity and implementing robust access controls. I also coordinated user acceptance testing (UAT) and provided hands-on training to empower HR staff to utilize the system's full potential.
The successful launch of this collaboration system resulted in significant improvements in HR team productivity, communication efficiency, and knowledge accessibility. This project strengthened my expertise in cloud-based collaboration tools and highlighted my ability to deliver user-centric solutions that meet the specific needs of a business unit.
