Agile Delivery of Custom Client Management Platform for Agency

As the Technical Project Manager, I led the end-to-end delivery of a client management platform tailored for a digital marketing agency. This engagement showcased my expertise in managing the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), employing Agile methodologies and leveraging industry-standard project management tools like Jira and Confluence.

The project began with a comprehensive requirements elicitation phase, involving stakeholder interviews, workshops, and competitive analysis. I facilitated discussions to identify pain points with the legacy system and document functional and non-functional requirements. These insights were translated into a detailed product backlog and sprint plan, aligning the platform's features with the agency's specific needs for enhanced client communication, project tracking, and performance reporting.

To ensure a user-centric design, I oversaw the development of interactive wireframes and mockups, using Figma for collaborative prototyping. We conducted iterative usability testing with agency staff, incorporating their feedback to refine the platform's interface and workflows.

During the development phase, I managed the engineering team, tracking progress against the sprint plan and facilitating daily stand-ups to address blockers. I emphasized continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices to ensure a stable and high-quality product. Additionally, I orchestrated the data migration from the legacy system, designing a robust ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) process to cleanse and transfer client data securely.

As the platform neared release, I coordinated user acceptance testing (UAT) and facilitated training sessions for agency personnel. I also developed comprehensive user documentation and a knowledge base to ensure smooth onboarding and ongoing support.

The successful launch of this platform resulted in significant operational efficiencies for the agency, streamlining client interactions, project workflows, and performance reporting. This project solidified my ability to lead complex technical initiatives, translate business needs into technical solutions, and deliver client-focused products within budget and timeline constraints. I'm eager to leverage this experience to drive similar digital transformation projects in the future.
